The Challenge

To create an eight-page, educational colouring book predominantly focused on the animals that live in the Zoo whilst encompassing a message of environmental awareness and the need to take care of the planet. Imagery needed to be created in conjunction with simple, digestible copy highlighting the key, current environmental issues the world faces.

The Solution

Using animals seen at the zoo was our starting point to guide children through a path of learning which helped them understand the need to take care and nurture nature always. The book was developed as part colouring and part graphical renders of fully finished pieces to encourage and engage the children’s creative side. From our research the addition of activities to further engage development was implemented in order to enjoy a fully finished educational book from start to finish whilst learning along the way.
